A "Real Deal Parents Style" question

A: When finally on their own, students are often surprisingly able to stand on their own two feet. First-year students have a lot of new responsibilities to juggle, but support systems are in place to help. If students are finding it hard to schedule and prioritize, academic advisers are always available to talk. Peer advisers are also available in most of the schools. And the Ithaca Seminar Program, which is open to all first-year students, provides an additional hour of class time each week to address a wide range of college transition concerns.
