A: Cohabitation can be a breeze if both students try to be considerate of each other’s wishes. But if there are clashes about different bedtimes, anger over items borrowed without permission, or other invisible lines being crossed, each residence hall floor has a resident assistant trained in resolving roommate conflicts. Even the best roommates won’t agree on everything. Students can also use Ithaca’s helpful roommate agreement form to set ground rules for quiet hours, space use, and many other common bunking issues.
