Ithaca College professors were quite the world travelers last summer as they presented their research and publications around the globe.


The Department of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology has launched a new pilot program aimed at helping nonverbal children, mainly those with autism, work on their communication skills.

For most physical therapy students, landing a job at one of the country’s leading rehabilitation centers would be the ultimate career goal realized. For Jill Cadby, it’s her everyday reality. Thanks to the physical therapy program at Ithaca College, Cadby changes lives every day at the Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation.


As soon as IC students finish their last exams on the South Hill, most pack up and leave for their summer vacations, jobs, or internships back home with astonishing speed. But not everyone heads home for the three-month break. If some upperclassmen could pass along one piece of advice, it's this: spend at least one summer in Ithaca. 


For some stroke survivors, getting themselves out of bed, making breakfast, and getting dressed for the day is a seemingly impossible task. Ithaca College health sciences students are helping to make these things possible for many of these people.
