CrossFit promotes the use of a continually changing array of aerobic and weight lifting exercises to improve muscular strength, cardiorespiratory endurance, and flexibility. Both Eamon Coyne ’12, M.S. ’14, and Tim Paulson ’12, M.B.A. ’13, licensed owners of CrossFit Pallas in Ithaca, embody the CrossFit attitude in mind, body, and spirit.


Instantly upon walking into Mexeo Restaurant in Collegetown, customers are greeted by a burst of vibrantly colored walls and the aroma of fresh Mexican food.


At 28, Whitney Mares ’02, an account executive at Padilla Speer Beardsley in Minneapolis, was the youngest public relations professional featured in PR Week’s “40 under 40” list of 2009.


At Ithaca, says theater arts management major Samantha Abrams ’08, “I came to realize what I was good at and passionate about was theater. I got a rush from making things happen, especially things I cared about.”

What she cares about now is food -- tasty, good-for-you raw food, to be exact -- and she’s certainly making things happen with it.


Sean Vormwald found not one but two jobs that perfectly combine his two degrees from IC (B.A. ’01 in environmental studies and M.S ’07 in communications).
