Ithaca Grad Now Not-So-Secret Agent Man

Imagine driving around the country in a vehicle that hasn’t even gone on sale yet, completing "special missions," and sharing your experiences with the world.

Sound like a superhero? Try Fiesta agent.

Ithaca alum Alex Morrison ’02 is now cruising around the country in the new Ford Fiesta, a high-efficiency vehicle set to go on the U.S. market in 2010.

Morrison is one of 100 people chosen from over 4,000 applicants to be an agent in the “Fiesta Movement,” a social media campaign.

The purpose of the campaign is to raise awareness of the Ford Fiesta -- long in advance of its U.S. launch -- through social networking sites and other new media platforms.

All agents can be followed on their special missions through YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, and blogs. Mission themes range from travel and technology to entertainment and social activism.
