Flaming Bananas, Oh My!

Diners at each of the campus dining halls may have been shocked to see flames flickering toward the ceilings during dinner one evening recently. Don't worry, though. The fire was contained!

The flames were needed to make flaming bananas Foster in what will be an annual performance-cooking event in the dining halls. It's likely to be the only time of year where you'll find rum in the dining halls, because this yummy culinary creation is a blend of bananas, vanilla ice cream, cinnamon, banana liqueur, rum, brown sugar, and butter.

Flaming bananas ... what more can we say?!
