Cover of the Fuse fall 2011 issue

The leaves are just starting to turn a brilliant shade of red-orange on the Ithaca College campus, which means fall, and the latest issue of Fuse is here, stuffed with stories from our staff of student writers and photographers.

Check out our cover story, where one student traveled to Cyprus to dabble in the field of archaeogeophysics and uncover remnants of an ancient civilization.

From the concert hall to the newsroom, Ithaca College is getting students ready for life after college. Read how students like Jaylene Clark, who wrote, produced, directed, and performed in her own off-Broadway play, are prepared to take on the world.

And learn how IC health sciences students are using their skills from their physical and speech therapy classes to help residents at Longview, a senior retirement community right up the street from campus.

Get the scoop from Purity owner Heather Lane M.B.A. '10, who not only runs Ithaca's favorite ice cream shop, but also teaches a new business course at IC. The cherry on top? Students create their own business plan after an introductory lessons in finance, marketing, and business planning and operations.
