Cortaca Jug: Go Bombers!

Written by Meredith Farley

The IC Bombers and the Cortland Red Dragons.

It's Cortaca Jug time again. The infamous football game, which has been dubbed the "Biggest Little Game In America" by Sports Illustrated, has been held annually since 1959.

The Cortaca Jug game, the highly anticipated, annual battle between Ithaca College and rival SUNY Cortland, will take place this Saturday, November 15, at 1:00 p.m., at Cortland. The game is already sold out, but there will be many ways for all Bomber fans to see, or hear, the game.

The game is scheduled to be televised live in Cortland and Tompkins Counties on Time Warner Cable (Channel 6 in Cortland, Channel 16 in Ithaca). Or, you can check the game out on WICB (91.7 FM), IC's award winning radio station; they'll also be broadcasting the game live from their website.

Another option is to watch the game in IC Square with your fellow Bomber fans. The SGA will be screening the game live, on a huge projection screen, starting at noon. They'll also be providing free pizza and wings, so go hungry. The event is free and open to all students.

Editor's Note: We won this weekend! Go Bombers!
