Spring 2014

The Spring 2014 print edition of IC Fuse is full of brand new stories about real student experiences and the opportunities they found at Ithaca College.

From analyzing campaign strategies to discussing cultural conflict rhetoric in class, communication studies professor Donathan Brown makes sure his students are thinking critically about the media messages they receive.

IC students have created a way for people to find local artists whose music aligns with their tastes. MegsRadio.fm is an ad-free, nonprofit, personalized Internet radio system.

Students in Annette Levine’s Spanish Theatre class went from shyly reading scripts on the first day of class to performing a play in front of the United Nations in New York City.

An idea that was first conceived by six alumni on Ithaca College’s ICTV seven years ago made it into the pilot of a new comedy sketch TV series they have created called The Birthday Boys, which premiered on the Independent Film Channel this fall.
