Ithaca College recently hosted its first ever ballroom dance competition, the Cayuga DanceSport Challenge. More than 180 competitors from 20 different schools danced in the collegiate competition. The Ben Light Gymnasium was filled with the music of cha-cha, bolero, mambo, rumba, and swing. Ithaca College students placed in many events, winning more than 40 ribbons in all.

On a Tuesday morning, I stood in the Whalen School of Music trying to figure out how laughter and yoga could possibly combine.
