    Ithaca College students saved some money recently while supporting a great cause. Barbers at Hillel's annual Shoshana Rudnick "Inch-a-Thon" cut students' hair in the north foyer of Campus Center.

    Students who donated 10 or more inches of hair received a free haircut. If they donated less than 10 inches, the cost was just $10 -- quite a deal.

    In protest of California's Proposition 8, which revokes the right for the LGBT community to marry, IC' s student group Created Equal staged a unique fund raiser in Emerson Suites this past week. For the suggested donation of $8.00, students received a fake marriage certificate and matching rings (ring pops!) after "marrying" anyone of their choosing.
