Outside Ithaca

At the end of January last year, instead of making the usual drive back to Ithaca to begin a new semester at college, Lewis Kendall ’14 packed his bags and hopped on a plane to South America.


For the fifth straight Olympics, students from Ithaca College worked at the world’s biggest athletic event. NBC selected 34 interns from the college’s Roy H. Park School of Communications to support the network’s coverage of the XXII Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, Russia.


Ithaca College's Model European Union team traveled to Belgium for the annual SUNY Model E.U. Conference.


This past June, three physics students at Ithaca College had the rare opportunity to work onboard the Stratospheric Observatory for Infrared Astronomy, or SOFIA.
