    WICB, Ithaca College’s student-run radio station won the mtvU Woodie Award this year for best college radio station. The award ceremony was held in November in New York City. The mtvU Woodie Awards are the self-proclaimed definitive college music awards.

    Last December Ithaca College students accompanied faculty to the annual United Nations Forum Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) in Pozan, Poland. The students went as part of the College’s International Environmental Policy course.     While most of us spent Thanksgiving break catching up on lost sleep and enjoying leftovers, Adam Peruta, assistant professor of strategic communication, was in Tempe, Arizona, competing in the Ironman, a triathlon that comprises a 2.4-mile swim, a 112-mile bike ride, and a 26.2-mile run -- a total of 140.6 miles.
