Sara Kim ’17
Hello! My name is Sara Kim, a senior journalism student with a double minor in health policy and management and Asian American studies. I am from Pennsylvania -- or, to be exact, the suburbs of Philadelphia in an area known as Bucks County.
When I am not writing, I spend my days running two student organizations as President of the Ithaca College Society of Professional Journalists and Co-President of the IC Asian American Alliance. I am also a four-year member of the highly selective Ithaca Achievement Program, as well as a writer for The Ithacan. Additionally, I am a dedicated volunteer in the Ithaca community as a participant and two-time leader of the Jumpstart Community Plunge program and an active Service Saturday member.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, volunteering, and hitting the gym with my music. I also like to cook new recipes and watch movies.
Lisa Famularo ’16 addresses the lack of professional resources for business students through her work with Business Professions Week and her experiences as a Student Leadership Consultant and Peer Career Advisor.
