Caylena Cahill ’10 |
Hi, I'm Caylena! I'm a senior photo and French double major with a minor in journalism - a.k.a. insanity. I come from Highland, NY, a small town that no one has heard of. Last semester I studied in Paris, France and last summer I took a class in Rome, Italy. I love traveling and speaking/learning foreign languages! Taking pictures brings meaning to my life and I love being able to share my experiences and opinions with people using images. I'm set if I have my camera. I particularly love macro and abstract photography. I like shooting in all different media, but most often use my digital SLR 35mm camera. I love chemical photography and find it truly sad that the tradition and practice are disappearing as we move into a digital age. In the future I hope to travel around the world and use my photography to make a difference. For possible photography jobs, I am interested in forensic/crime photography, scientific/biological macro documentation, and travel photography. I'm also interested in teaching English in foreign countries as well as learning as many languages as I can.
Read my blog to learn about the experience of a nut-case senior taking too many credits and working too many jobs... and not getting enough sleep! :-)
