Alyssa Letsch ’10 |
Hi there!
My name is Alyssa Letsch and I'm a writer and the social media editor for Fuse. I'm a junior Integrated Marketing Communications major and Speech Communication minor. I hope to someday enter the advertising or public relations industry, and my dream job is to work for the Boston Red Sox. I am from Cape Cod, MA where I was born and raised.
Here at Ithaca I'm involved in many community service organizations. I do Habitat for Humanity, Big Brothers and Big Sisters, and the Protestant Community. I am also a resident assistant in the first year housing program and a Leadership Scholar. Other than working for Fuse, I office assist for Admission and substitute teach at the Cornell Childcare Center. In my free time I enjoy taking advantage of everything Ithaca and the surrounding areas have to offer. I love going on roadtrips, spending quality time with family and friends, and of course cheering on the Red Sox.
My plans for the remainder of my time at Ithaca include a semester in Singapore next spring, and graduating early in December 2010. After that I would like to volunteer overseas or backpack through Europe before settling into a career.
My favorite things about Ithaca include the view from South Hill, the falls, the town, the people, and the sunsets- they are the best I've ever seen, but of course, you have to come see for yourself...
