Diane Gayeski ’74 was named dean of the Roy H. Park School of Communications after serving as interim dean for the past year. She has spent over 30 years as a strategic communications faculty member at IC.
“I’m honored and excited to be leading the school,” Gayeski says. “It’s a pleasure to have the energy and fresh perspectives of talented young students along with the expertise and dedication of a remarkable faculty to take on new opportunities.”
The School of Business has a new dean as well. Mary Ellen Zuckerman, a longtime professor and former dean at SUNY Geneseo’s School of Business, says she is particularly interested in the school’s “emphasis on experiential learning for students and the commitment to sustainability issues.”
