Dylan Hulser ’12 is putting his experience in integrated marketing communications to work in a stylish setting: reddit.com, one of the Internet’s largest and most popular social news sites.
A self-described “avid redditor,” Hulser discovered the job through a subreddit, a filtered category of posts and links on reddit’s own website.
While social networks like Facebook and Twitter employ thousands, reddit has fewer than 30 employees. Hulser is part of a two-person sales support team pitching the website to businesses across the country and overseeing its various advertising campaigns.
Hulser is also working with Matt Modrowski ’07 on a web browser extension called Swiftly, to be launched later this year, which will allow users to share URLs directly through the browser — without copying, pasting, and emailing them.
