Did you know that Ithaca has more restaurants per capita than New York City? With a population of roughly 47,000, Ithaca thrives as one of the cultural meccas for the Finger Lakes region. And after tasting much of what this town has to offer, the Fuse editors, gourmands, and foodies have compiled their “best of” list to help you dig into the rich, yet affordable world of Ithaca gastronomy.
Lost Dog Café
You can’t miss the Lost Dog Café’s bright, signature mosaic of a Chihuahua out front. Its eclectic atmosphere, moderately priced ($8–$15) sandwiches, and vegetarian options make it an obvious choice for a casual first date.
