A "Real Deal Parents Style" question

A: Ithaca is a safe community, but IC’s campus still has many programs to make sure that your child is always comfortable. There are over 90 emergency telephones mounted on poles with blue lights that can be seen from a distance. Students who feel unsafe or want to request an escort back to their dorms simply pick up a phone and talk to a dispatcher. The Student Auxiliary Safety Patrol constantly patrols the campus, and the emergency notification system immediately notifies students of an emergency through e-mails, phone calls, and text messages. A key card access system has been implemented to further enhance dorm safety.
