Ithaca College has just been featured in the brand new Princeton Review's Gay and Lesbian Guide to College Life.
The Ithaca College Center for LGBT Education, Outreach & Services is continuing its long-held tradition of raising awareness about LGBT issues through their fall film series: Visibili T Out of the Closet and Onto the Screen Film Series. The film series, which kicked off August 30, with a showing of the film Transgeneration, will focus on the theme of ways people transgress, challenge, and redefine gender as we know it.
The series continued on September 17, when two films were screened as a double feature. No Dumb Questions focuses on three younger sisters' understanding of their Uncle Bill's transformation into womanhood, while Just Call Me Kade tells the story of Kade, a female-to-male (FTM) teenager facing familial challenges to his transition. The series will continue once a month and will feature an array of insightful perspectives on what it means to be transgendered.
